UNSEEN / SITE INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
Your story is not our inventory. This notice explains the data handled by the current website and Recognition OS experience.
Recognition reflections stay on your device
Recognition OS can store reflections and saved records in your browser's local storage. That information can remain there after you close the tab until you clear site data or remove it in the experience. The current Recognition record path is designed not to send reflection text or answer values to our event database. If you export a PDF, you control the downloaded copy.
Anonymous interaction measurement
To understand whether the free Recognition experience works, it sends a randomly generated session identifier and a limited event name to our event endpoint. Where relevant, the record can include a question number and timestamp. The identifier is held in your browser's session storage. The event database does not contain your written reflections or answer values.
Technical requests and security
When you visit pages or stream music, the website and its hosting/security provider, Cloudflare, process technical requests. Depending on their security and logging configuration, those requests can include IP address, user-agent information, requested URLs, and request times. These technical records are separate from Recognition's event database.
Music and Collection
Music is currently free to listen to without an account. The Collection is a preview, not an active shop. These pages do not currently provide checkout or payment collection. Playing audio requests media files from our website.
Cookies and browser storage
Recognition uses browser storage for saved records and a session identifier. Cloudflare may use essential cookies or similar mechanisms for site security. See our Cookies & Storage notice for more detail.
Retention and your choices
You can clear locally saved Recognition information using the experience's available deletion controls or your browser's site-data settings. Anonymous event records are stored in the site's database; a fixed retention schedule has not yet been established. Clearing browser storage does not automatically delete records already received by the event database or any PDF you downloaded.
Changes and privacy requests
We may update this notice as the site changes. A dedicated privacy contact method must be published before this draft is promoted to the live site. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through site event endpoints.
