Cookies & Browser Storage
Last updated October 20, 2026
Browser storage is used to keep private Recognition records on your device and support a minimal interaction session.
Local storage
Recognition OS uses local storage for records you choose to save. Local storage is not a cookie. Saved information can persist between visits until you remove it or clear site data.
Session storage
The six-question Recognition experience uses session storage for a randomly generated session identifier used with limited interaction events. Session storage is separate from cookies and normally lasts for the browser tab's session.
Security cookies and logs
Cloudflare may set security-related cookies when its protection features require them. Cloudflare also processes technical requests and may keep security logs. The exact cookies visible to a visitor can vary with Cloudflare configuration and the security checks encountered.
Advertising and purchases
The current website code reviewed for these pages does not implement advertising cookies, a shopping checkout, or payment collection. This statement does not cover third-party websites you may visit by following external links.
Manage storage
Use Recognition's deletion controls where available, or clear theoneswhocarried.com site data in your browser. This may remove your saved local reflections. Clearing site data does not remove exported files or anonymous event records already sent to the server.
