WHAT WE CARRY
Love and Relationships
Love is sometimes a celebration. Sometimes it is a conversation at the kitchen table when nobody knows what to say.
People carry promises, plans, distance, and the work of showing up. Some relationships last a lifetime. Others change or end.
A person might remember a wedding, a long drive together, a difficult goodbye, or the friend who answered the phone at midnight.
Every relationship has more than one moment. The people who lived it get to say what it meant.
A relationship can be carried in ordinary habits. Saving someone the last piece of cake. Remembering how they take their coffee. Sitting beside them without needing to fill the silence.
It can also mean facing a change neither person expected. A couple may become caregivers. Friends may drift apart. Someone may decide to leave a relationship that no longer feels right. Each person can remember the same time differently.
